Effect of Peer-Led and Professional-Led Oral Health Education on KAP of Child Bearing Age Females - A Randomized Controlled Trial

Aim: To compare the effect of peer led and professional oral health education on knowledge, attitude practicesof child bearing age females. Methods: The design for this study was a randomized controlled trial in which changes practices were compared after providing professional-led education.480 females BHU Raiwind 500 Araiyaan randomly selected study. Brushing frequency, brushing timing fluoride prevention outcomes statistically. Results:The results indicated that twice day intervention group increased to 24% from 16% (baseline) but again dropped almost 15% at follow-up. 17% baseline 36% intervention; though it reduced 31% follow-up.It found out peer-led 24.6% considered helpful preventing diseases, twofold visit follow up (still more than baseline). While 24.1% (same as peer-led) thought dental diseases here three times (82%) 40% is still data. Conclusion:Professional Health significantly played an important role adopting healthy hygiene habits among age. Education provided by peers also improved conditions.
